Ogden Artist Steve Stones at the Eccles Community Art Center

Okay art lovers! We have a holiday treat for you this year at Eccels Community Art Center! Steve Stones has submitted two petite artworks to be displayed at the Eccles Community Art Center’s Inaugural Petite Impressions Exhibit and Competition. An opening reception where awards will be announced will be held on December 4, 2015 from 5-8pm. Eccles community Art Center is located at 2580 Jefferson Ave, in Ogden.

Steve Stones is participating in the Annual Halloween Group Exhibit at Mod-a-go-go.  Some of the pieces were formerly on display at the Carnival of Chaos Haunted House, which has recently closed its doors. Were glad these paintings can still be enjoyed!

Eerie Horror Creature by Ogden Utah Artist STeve STones

Steve Stones will be participating in the Halloween Group Show at Mod A Go Go, located at 242 E. South Temple in downtown Salt Lake City.  The Halloween Group Show will be taking place during the Salt Lake Gallery Stroll on Friday, October 18. Mod A Go Go is a local business featuring art, furniture, and many vintage goodies. Be sure to come by and show your support for local business and artists alike! We will see you there!

Castle of Chaos Haunted Attraction SOON to Open Doors!

The Castle of Chaos, located at 1134 West Riverdale Road in Riverdale, now features three haunted attractions! The Castle of Chaos is due to open its doors next Friday, September 15. During the month of September, the hours of operation will be from 7:30 – Midnight, Friday and Saturday nights only. During the month of October, the hours of operation will be from 7:30 p.m.- 10 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30- Midnight on Friday and Saturday Nights. The Castle of Chaos is CLOSED SUNDAYS.
Steve Stones has several nostalgic, carnival-type paintings, which were inspired by the Carnival of Chaos attraction and will be on display. The Carnival of Chaos features several interesting passages which can be appreciated in 3-D.
The Castle of Chaos also includes Seven Deadly Sins, and new haunted attraction, Screamatarium.

Steve Stones, at the 2012 Biennial Weber State University Art Faculty Exhibit!

         Steve Stones, along with several of his colleagues,  will be participating in the 2012 Biennial Weber State University Art Faculty Exhibit. The art exhibit is free to the public, and a free opening reception will be held on September 7 at 7 p.m., in the  Mary Elizabeth Dee Shaw Gallery, located in the Kimball Visual Arts Center. 

     All are encouraged to attend the opening event and meet the artists; however, if you’re unable to make it on Friday evening, you’re still in luck! This exhibition can be viewed through November 23.

Steve Stones Shows in the 2012 “Traces of the West Exhibit” at The Union Station

Okay fellow art fans, it’s time to glitter yer boots up with spurs, put yer guns in yer holsters, and head on down to the Union Station fer the Traces of the West Exhibit! The official opening reception will take place on Friday, July 6, from 6-8pm, and will hang until the dog days of July. The Traces of the West Exhibit is in conjunction with the Pioneer Day– Days of ’47 holiday, and is sure to be a rootin’ tootin’ good time!
